Editing on Photoshop

I first began by editing the front cover of my CD cover, I began by cropping out a tree in on of my original photos to then copy onto my template to produce a background. I originally had it solidly as this but as the editing continued, decided to place an effect on to heighten the product, I think this helped to make it unusual.

Then continuing on I edited the face; this was achieved by selecting my chosen picture and cropping it into three pieces, this was first difficult as I had to do each piece separately and therefore it was hard to get each piece to flow. After sometime I realised it wasn't necessary as it produced an usual look if the picture didn't fully make a whole.
The idea of then having them in black and white was raised however, I decided against this as it would be similar to the background. Each side of the face then went to have a different shade to it, representing the light and the dark.

Onto the back cover, I used a photo taken of a light in my house, an effect was used to give it an eerie feel, I then stretched this onto the entirely of the template and then simply added text with different song titles.

The magazine advert was carried out similarly to the album cover but with a different template being used, I proceeded to use a different font as well as the original. (will be seen on the finished product)
